There are specific rules for providing isolation from swimming pools and spas areas (and pond deeper than 300mm). During a recent building inspection in Melville Affordable Building Insepctions identified that while full isolation was provided and the access gates were correctly self-closing mesh installed next to a sction of fencing allowed persons to gain a foothold and transit over the fence. 

It is the sellers responsibility to correct the breach and provide full and compliant isolation fencing, and our identification of the breach saved the buyer the cost and effort to correct the wrong or the consequences that may have resulted if the breach was not identified.
